Intro to Pests Lesson Plan (Ideal for Grades K-2)

This lesson plan introduces elementary school students to the world of pests. Children ages 5-7 will learn about pest habits, habitats, threats and prevention. Some of the activities in the kit include playing a game, creating a class book and reading a story.

Totally Termites Lesson Plan (Ideal for Grades K-2)

This lesson plan provides elementary school students with a unique opportunity to explore the fascinating world of termites. Students will get a close-up look at termites and their anatomy, while learning about the property threats they pose.

Termitology Lesson Plan (Ideal for Grades 3-5)

Elementary school students will engage in an inquiry-based study of termite ecology with this lesson plan. They will learn about the termite life cycle, the termite's role in the food chain and the unique social structure of a termite colony.

In this lesson plan geared for students in grades 3-5, they will explore the habits and behaviors of pests like rodents and common bugs. The elementary school lesson plan also includes downloadable posters on the metamorphosis of a dragonfly and ladybug.
